Brad’s need for speed compelled him to begin bike racing in 1977. He was a ski racer for many years and began riding for therapy after a career-ending ski injury. Brad is a retired bike racer and now enjoys riding his bike for fun, but more importantly enjoys not having to endure Lactate or VO2 testing any longer. He can now enjoy his favorite Vic’s Espresso drink, a large non-fat Latte, hop on his Specialized Roubaix and head out to Apple Valley for his favorite ride in the area. Brad is also a fan of riding the central Pacific Coast Highway in California.
Brad rides many miles every year and trains well, motivating himself while training indoors by watching a collection of old race videos. Today he fills his time off the bike with his skills at photography and learning Spanish.
Brad is one of the four founding members of the Boulder Masters Cycling Team. He is the creative mind and eye behind this website, the gallery, and our team and individual photographs. We are grateful for his long contribution to the team.
